Life with David-part 2
Oct. 27th, 2007 11:18 amWell the next morning we all got up and went to La Mesa to eat breakfast and that was just not the best time I have had. Chrissy ordered a whole lot of food (even though she was not going to eat it)just to make Tigre pay for it. I did not eat much because I don't like to eat in front of people I do not know and Chrissy was making everyone very uncomfortable. In the course of eating Tigre kept telling me I should give his cousin David my ring and at first I said no, then by the end of breakfast I told Tigre that if David wanted my ring he would have to take it off my hand and I left it at that. The next thing I knew David was taking it off my finger and putting it on his. Then his cousin said I belonged to David for life. I did not really think to much of it at the time.
After breakfast we dropped the guys off and went home and I figured that was the end of things and it was no big deal.
A week later Chrissy asked me if I wanted to go and see the guys again and I said I would like to see David. So we went.
We got to the apartment and it was friggin cold in there and I asked Chrissy where David was and she said in the other room sleeping. I went in and he was sleeping on the floor under a bunch of coats (no furniture in the apt or blankets). I leaned down and woke him up and he was suprised to see me but happy also. I layed down with him and we cuddled up in my trench and just talked a little. David did speak english back then when he wanted to.
Not to long after that there was a bunch of noise in the livingroom and I heard a bunch of teenage girls. We got up and David went into the restroom and I went out into the living room and Chrissy was talking to a woman named Tomasa and she was not the cleanest person. Anyway she has some teenage girls with her and one of them ask where is Jimmy and I ask Chrissy who is Jimmy and the girl pointed at David who had just come out and I got pissed off. I told her his name is not Jimmy it is David and that he was mine and to stay the hell away from him. Chrissy told me to calm down and I got mad and told her no. I said these guys are your friends and Tomasa brings in little girls for them what happens when one of them hollers rape and all these guys go to prison for having sex with minors. I said that is so wrong and she knows it.
I told David if this is what you want fine. He said no and we left to go see a different apt that they were moving into down the street.
The apt they moved into was better than the other one but not much, at least you did not have to walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. It had heat and was in the basement so it was warmer. I stayed with David alot during the last half of Nov 97 and the first half of Dec 97. I should have realized then just how crazy and jealous he could get.
David shared the bedroom with Tigre most of them time or one of the other guys. When I stayed with him we slept on a twin bed and that was real interesting.
I lived most of the time with my sister Violet as I had no place else to go. My kids were with there dad and grandmother. T.J. my middle son who was giving me all kinds of trouble at the time was living with his dad part time and me during the week at Violets.
The first couple of weeks with David went great and I started getting along with Tomasa who always seemed to be with the guys. If she wasn't screwing one of them then it was another one. I though I had made a friend and I was so wrong.
I spent almost everyweekend over there just to get away from my sister, her kids and her house. I made T.J. spend the weekends with his dad. My sisters house was crowded and her kids so mouthy and rude. Her husband was lazy and laid around all the time and her house was a disaster because none of them would help keep it clean and the kitchen was gross. I tried to help but it never did any good.
The first part of Dec. was good also and one night at David's I was sitting on his lap in a recliner and his bother Chuey asked me if I was going to marry his little brother and I said I did not know and that David had not asked me. They really kept giving me a hard time about it. I told them that if and when he asked me I would decide.
That was around my birthday and I wanted to go and David said no stay with me and I did. I thought spending more time with a new boyfriend was more important than going out to the bars with my friends. Tomasa was there and we got to talking about doing the apt up for Christmas and so I had someone to talk to. My friends were not happy with me but in the long run I found out they were not true friends.
One weekend Tomasa and I cleaned and decorated the apt for Christmas and then she disappeared and we found out that she was in jail. She called and asked the guys for money to help get her out and they said no and wanted to leave her there and me being to soft hearted paid to get her out and that did not make David or Chuey or Tigre happy with me. I did not care I thought she was my friend.
The weekend after that happend I stayed at the apartment again and on Monday morning David told me to just sleep and I could leave when I got up. Well Tigre and Tomasa were asleep on the floor in the bedroom also. So around 9am I got up and left, no big deal or so I thought.
I went back to my sisters to deal with T.J. who was doing ok at the time and found out that is was getting close to Christmas vacation and he was going to go up to Creston til after Christmas and I said ok. After he left a couple of days later I went back to see David and he his attitude was so different towards me all evening and during the night he was mean, then about 4 in the morning he told me to get out and never come back. I said what the hell is wrong and what did I do to make you so mad. He just kept telling me to leave and that I was a whore. I was hurt and pissed off but finally got him to tell me what he was so mad about and that is when I found out that Tomasa had told him that after he went to work I had sex with his cousin Tigre. I tried and tried to get him to believe me that I had not and never would sleep with his cousin. (I never did) He would not listen to me and so I had to call my friend Rhonda to come and get me at 6am and take me back to my sisters house. I figured it was over for good.
I ended up spending my Christmas in Creston with my kids and ex husband. That was not so bad but when I got back to Co. Bluffs at Voilets they were all gone for the day. Violet called and told me that David had called a couple times for me and wanted me to call him. I did. I asked him what he wanted and he said nothing and hung up so I called him back. I said you called so you wanted something, what and he said he just wanted to call. We talked and he asked me to come back to the apartment and I told him he would have to wait til the weekend.
The weekend was New Year's and I had plans. I talked to him a couple of times and he told me I had to stay home on New Year's Eve and I said then you have to also. He told me he was not going anywhere. I called and called and called that evening and got no answer. One of my friends had asked me if I wanted to go to a New Years Dance and I said yes but somewhere where he would not look for me and I could have a good time. We went to Sokol Hall and had a great time. I found out later that David and his friends had went to the Stockyards to the New Years Dance there. I was so pissed because he thought he could tell me to stay home and he could go out and we were not even back together then. He told me he was looking for me and I laughed at him. I have never told him where I was that night and never will.
Next: The New Year
