Why can't things go right?

Well just talked to David and found out that he had been in a real bad accident and his brother is partly to blame for it. I guess David and Marco was either going into Escarcega or coming back from there and right at the edge of town got into an accident. His brother Enrique was drunk and standing in the middle of the road so David stopped and some guy in a really big truck hit them from behind. David was driving his sisters truck which is a F150 extended cab. The truck is totaled and Marco is in a coma and David has a broken nose, ribs, hand and bruised internally. This happened mon apr. 9th. The driver of the other truck was not hurt, but I guess his passanger was, David thinks her neck was broken. David said he does not remember much of the accident and that when he was unconcious he saw his brother Avalardo and alot of people that he did not know and he saw me and he chose to come to me and he believes that is why he is still alive. Now all we need is for Marco to wake up and be ok. The doctors say it is to soon to tell if he will be ok when he wakes up. He has to wake up he is only 14yrs old.

So Enrique spent 2 days in jail, probably for standing in the middle of the road drunk and the guy that hit David is in jail for drinking and driving and hitting David. David's dad got real pissed off at Enrique and kicked him out of the house. Enrique is a drunk and always will be. He does not hold a job and when he does work he spends it all on booze.

Now tonight I will light candles for all of them especially the 3 who where injured and I think there was a forth one that ended up with a broken leg. All of the sisters are going home and it sucks that I can not be there to take care of David myself. I wish with all my heart I could be there but I know that his mom and sister will take care of him for me.

David was due to leave for Cancun to go to work and now it will have to wait til he is better and Marco wakes up. He did get his tickets to go and he did get his drivers license. I don't understand why things go this way sometimes but there is a reason for everything and it will all work out the way it is supposed to.
